Select an artist you are familiar with and submit a biography by email for consideration Biography Guidelines When submitting an artists biography please consider the following: Please keep in mind that The Art Icons Directory is a reference site and not a promotional vehicle, therefore biographical information should not be worded for purposes of 'advertising' the artist concerned. Contributors will be automatically credited by email address and/or website link. Each biography should answer as many of the following questions as possible Date of Birth/Death. Nationality. Gender. Characteristics for which the artist's work is best known. Any important teachers to credit. Association with any particular art movements, or artists who influenced work. Relevant personal information. Please enter references below the body of the biography. Do not combine reference information with the biography. Please refer to existing biographies for layout style, length of biography etc Please do not submit biographies with few facts or in a promotional style.
